QuickTurn Service Guide: How We Work
Transparent pricing and efficient service for your home projects
1. Our Rates & Billing
Hourly Rate: We charge $75 per hour, per person.
Billing Policy: We bill for the total time spent on-site. This includes time spent setting up, troubleshooting, performing the repair, and cleaning up.
Minimums: There is a 1-hour minimum charge. After the first hour, we bill in 15-minute increments.
Service Area & Travel Surcharges We are locally based in Midtown Sacramento. To cover fuel and travel time for technicians, jobs outside our standard service area are subject to a travel surcharge (Travel fees are flat-rate and per trip, separate from labor):
Standard Area (0-12 miles): Included (e.g., Downtown, Natomas, East Sac).
Extended Area (12-25 miles): +$35 Trip Fee (e.g., Elk Grove, Carmichael).
Outer Area (25+ miles): +$55 Trip Fee (e.g., Rocklin, Roseville, Folsom).
2. Being Prepared (Save Money!) To get the most value out of our hourly rate:
Materials Ready: Ensure all necessary parts, kits, and materials are on-site.
Compatibility Check: Double-check that new materials are compatible (correct size, plugs, etc).
Clear Access: Please clear the area around the repair site so we can get straight to work.
3. The "Time vs. Task" Policy For small jobs (under $750), we operate on a Time & Materials basis, not a fixed bid.
If a project cannot be completed because of missing parts, incorrect materials provided by the homeowner, or unforeseen structural issues, we must still bill for the time spent assessing and attempting the installation.
4. Rough Estimates vs. Fixed Quotes For hourly work, any time or cost estimates provided over the phone are non-binding approximations based on typical conditions.
Variables: Actual time may vary due to unforeseen site conditions
The Rule: We bill for actual hours worked, even if it exceeds the initial estimate.
Communication: If a job appears significantly more complex than anticipated, we will pause and consult with you before continuing.
5. Materials We Provide We carry standard hardware (screws, anchors, etc.). If we need to leave to purchase materials for your job, that shopping time is billable, plus the cost of materials.
6. Payment An invoice will be sent after work is completed. Invoices are due upon receipt with a Net 30 payment term. We accept credit card, pay pal and zelle payments.
